| Bibliography, etc. note | Resumen: La necesidad de realizar construcciones cada día de manera más rápida y económica ha llevado a la aparición de diversos métodos constructivos en el mundo, Chile no está ajeno a la búsqueda de estos métodos. Es así como llega desde EEUU esta nueva alternativa tecnológica llamada SIP. Estos paneles estructurales isotérmicos son elementos modulares conformados por dos placas de OSB (Oriented-Strand-Board), contrachapado, adherido a un núcleo de poliestireno expandido de alta densidad, componentes que a través de un proceso industrial de fabricación se transforman en un elemento estructural de alta resistencia mecánica y gran capacidad de aislación térmica. |
